About UK EV Charging

A straightforward introduction to EV charging.

UK EV Charging is a Midlands-first introduction service for people and businesses thinking about electric vehicle charging. We aim to make the first conversation simple, especially if you are new to EVs.

Who is behind it?

UK EV Charging is a trading name of Packwood Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17443927. Our registered office is in Corby, Northamptonshire. We are building our network of installation partners locally before considering a wider UK service.

This is a growing local business, not a national electrical installation company. We currently handle initial enquiries through info@ukevcharging.co.uk. We will publish a direct business telephone contact when that service is ready.

What we do — and what we don't

We are an independent introduction service, not the company that carries out your electrical installation. Tell us roughly what you need and where you are. We can then discuss options and, when an appropriate partner is available, introduce you to an installer to assess the property and quote for the work.

An enquiry is free and does not commit you to buying a charger or accepting a quotation.

How will installers be assessed?

As we develop the network, our intended partner checks include relevant electrical qualifications and registration, appropriate public liability insurance, experience of EV charger work, and OZEV authorisation where a government grant requires it. We will not describe an installer as checked or approved until the relevant evidence has been confirmed.

How does UK EV Charging earn money?

Where a referral results in an installation, we may receive a referral fee from the installer. We are not tied to a particular car or charger manufacturer. Any installer quotation and the decision to proceed remain between you and the installer.

Where we are starting

Our initial regional focus includes parts of Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and neighbouring Midlands areas. Please include your postcode so we can confirm whether an introduction is possible; this is not yet a claim of complete coverage.
